Action item: Gay marriage in New Hampshire

Great news! The New Hampshire Senate just passed (by one vote!) a law that would make same-sex marriage legal in yet another state! Less-great news: The bill now goes to Governor John Lynch who, although a Democrat, says he opposes gay marriage and has not publicly stated how he would act on this bill. Obviously, since it passed by such a narrow margin, hopes of overriding a veto are essentially nonexistent.

Marriage equality proponents, and New Hampsire residents in particular, may want to contact Governor Lynch to ask him to do the right thing.
